Smallmouth Bass fishing on the Delaware
Smallmouth bass are the most dominant fish on the Delaware River. It's not unusual for anglers to catch more than 20-30 per day.Great places to find them are deep holes near or at the end of a large pool. The largest fish are in deeper water usually near or on some kind of structure. For large fish I fish in about 8-10 of water on and around logs of structure with a black 3" Mister Twister. In the summer months top water fishing best. Small top water lures and plugs chugged around the weed beds produces the best results |
